Our first Brittany...

Mia is that $5 dog story.  A friend convinced Margaret to take one of his pups because her father had a Brittany.  Every dog has a purpose  and Marg felt that the dog should be trained for that purpose.  So the adventure starts.  This was in 1993 when we lived in Manhattan Beach, CA and didn't have a clue what a field trial was.  We were lucky enough to find Paul Doiron who was doing "Hunt Tests".  He put the Master Hunter title on Mia.  She still loves to retrieve and can pick up almost anything.  Paul and Peggy Doiron have became our friends, trainer and mentor.  Mia is 10 and still boss mama.
